Group and history

History :

The “Morphogenesis and Intracellular Signalling” group participated to the UMR 144 creation in January 1995. Previously localized at Pasteur Institute, it studies morphogenesis and inter/intracellular communication in epithelial cells. We are mostly interested in cortical actin cytoskeleton, membrane trafficking, signal transduction and settlement of cell polarity. In order to study tumoral progression, we develop murin models of intestinal cancers. These topics are under the direction of: Monique Arpin, (Ezrin and cell signalisation), Evelyne Coudrier (Myosin I and intracellular traffic), Sylvie Robine (Villin and murin models) and Ahmed Zahraoui (Rab13 and tight junction assembly).
This group is supported by CNRS, Curie Institute, international grants, charitable organizations: Ligue Nationale contre le Cancer, Association pour la Recherche sur le Cancer and Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale.
