Darwin's theory has had an enormous impact within and beyond the scientific community. The third "Fabrics of Life" workshop explores the theme of evolution with talks from leading evolutionary biologists and participation from professional artists and designers in a bid to celebrate scientific discovery through the media of design and fashion. Conferences Morning: talks are open to the public (to engage a wider audience in science). Free and open to public. WorkshopsThe afternoon workshop is closed and will involve a brainstorming session between selected students enrolled on courses and ENSAD and the participating speakers. All six speakers will be allocated to a group of at least five students to brainstorm ways to translate the scientific principles presented into design models with the assistance of professional art and design facilitators
